Single, Saved and Having Sex by Ty Adams
The Essence Best Seller

I read this book last year and thought this would be the perfect time to post a review on it.

I purchased it off Amazon after it was highly recommended for me to read by a good friend.

This book was very powerful for me. Ty Adams is very transparent in writing her personal testimony. She writes about how sex impacted her life and how she overcame the guilt and shame that came with the life she lived before she decided to put Christ first. The book does use biblical references throughout, and this to me was a plus. Ty Adams addresses many issues in the book that I needed to read about; sexual immorality being one of them.

This was a powerful testimony to me. This book helped me to put a lot of my personal issues into context, and it helped me to understand how I can move forward even after some bad decisions I have made. I was able to relate to a lot of the experiences that Ty Adams has dealt with, which helped me overcome some of the guilt and shame I felt because of my past sexual experiences. I too will be recommending this book to friends as the years go on.
