Visions so deep that Websters’ words can not describe them

Like horror flicks they play in my thoughts

Chasing away my dreams like a mighty wind sweeping over the desert

I blink

The vision frightens me so that my eyes water

Fear engulfs my tears before they trail down my skin

Images of faces unknown

My bones crawl

My skin no longer fits

I blink

Thoughts so vivid

I could walk right into them

Strolling down the paths of my nightmares

I blink

My eyes become dilated to the terrors of tomorrow

I reach out for reality

My fingers brush the closest image to me

I scream

I blink

Visions so real that I can’t be dreaming

I blink
